Rick Karagiannis

Director, licensed plumber and bathroom renovator at Nu-Trend

About Rick

Rick Karagiannis is the director of Nu-Trend, the Sydney plumbing and bathroom renovation business he founded with his father, Michael, in 2009. He has about 20 years in the trade and still quotes and builds every Nu-Trend bathroom himself, working on the tools alongside co-director Rob Te Maipi.

Michael spent more than 20 years in the building industry and passed that knowledge on to Rick. Rick started out solving plumbing problems, and because he enjoys the finer points of design he broadened into complete bathroom renovations, ensuites, laundries and kitchens across Sydney.

He dislikes the usual industry sales tactics and believes in no gimmicks and upfront, honest work, following the advice his father gave him: always treat people fairly, be honest and go the extra step.
