Five things we check in a North Shore home before we quote.
Larger homes on sloping blocks with several bathrooms raise different questions to a terrace or a unit. Every one of these is inspected on the free visit and priced in writing before demolition day.

Several bathrooms, one program
Many North Shore homes have a main bathroom, an ensuite and a kids or guest bathroom, and owners want them done together. In Mosman and Seaforth we rebuilt three rooms each. We sequence the trades so you always have one working bathroom, and we price the lot as one itemised quote rather than three.

Sloping blocks and long pipe runs
Mosman, Seaforth, Neutral Bay and Lane Cove are built on hillsides. Bathrooms sit above garages and under decks, drains run a long way to the sewer, and floors on split levels have often moved. We check the falls and the drain runs on the inspection, because moving a fixture here can mean a very different job to the same move on a flat block.

We have an interior designer. Will you build to their drawings?
Yes, and we prefer a good set of drawings. The Naremburn ensuite was a Boffi design and the Seaforth bathrooms were built to a designer's specification. We quote from the drawings, flag anything that will not work on site before we start, and build exactly what was drawn.
Can you renovate three bathrooms at once?
Yes. In Mosman and Seaforth we rebuilt three rooms in each house. We sequence the trades so one bathroom is always usable, and you get one itemised fixed price for the whole program.
I own a unit in North Sydney, Chatswood or Manly. How does strata work?
