Completing a home renovation often extends to every corner and for a Loftus homeowner, ensuring their powder room harmonised with the newly refurbished main living areas was important.
Nu Trend stepped in to seamlessly integrate this smaller space into the home’s cohesive interior design, delivering a charming and highly functional Classic Hamptons-inspired powder room.
The transformation began with a focused design consultation, where Nu Trend collaborated with the owner to ensure the powder room’s aesthetic would perfectly complement the elegant and refined style established throughout the rest of the home.
A key decision was to embrace a bright, airy feel, predominantly through the use of crisp white. This was artfully combined with architectural details, specifically the installation of V-groove wall paneling on the lower half of the walls, a hallmark of traditional and Hamptons-style interiors. The upper walls were painted a clean white, creating a unified and inviting atmosphere.
The most distinctive design choice was the selection of vibrant, patterned floor tiles in shades of grey, and white. These decorative tiles serve as a captivating focal point, adding personality and a touch of modern flair against the room’s classic backdrop. The choice of a classic white ceramic pedestal sink and timeless chrome tap ware further reinforced the desired aesthetic, ensuring a sophisticated yet approachable feel.
